8-Hour Site Safety Coordinator Courses
This NYC 8-Hour Site Safety Coordinator course is a condensed version of the 40-Hour Site Safety Manager Course designed for experienced professionals who meet the NYC DOB's advanced education or experience requirements, who interested in registering as Construction Superintendents, Site Safety Managers, OR those seeking Site Safety Coordinator licensure with the NYC Department of Buildings.
In New York City, Site Safety Coordinators are required for overseeing safety on projects up to 14 stories; and Construction Superintendents for projects up to 9 stories. Site Safety Managers are required to be on site for the construction of new buildings that are 15 or more stories, or 200 feet or more in height, or with lot coverage of more than 100,000 square feet.
With the appropriate experience and education, this 8-hour course can fulfill the training requirements for the above listed certifications.
