The 8-hour Permit Required Confined Space Competent Person/Supervisor course is designed to help companies comply with the OSHA Standards. This course consists of two parts – Entrant/Attendant Training and

Supervisor/Competent Person Training, each lasting four hours.

Participants will learn about the physical and chemical properties that pose a hazard in confined spaces, and the signs and symptoms of exposure to hazardous atmospheres; personal protective equipment; confined space regulations; duties and responsibilities of the entrant and supervisor; required monitoring, ventilation, and non-entry rescue equipment; understanding confined space permits; and elements of a Confined Space Hazard Assessment Program.
