The 8-Hour EM-385 Annual Refresher is a renewal course designed for those who have previously completed the 40-Hour EM-385 Compliance course. This course reviews important information for those performing duties as a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) on a United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) government project under EM-385 requirements.
Who Should Take This Course?
- Employees who completed the 40 hour within the last 12 months and need to maintain competency with the EM-385 required documented training.

- Any recent changes to the EM 385-1-1
Compliance Codes: OSHA 29CFR 1926; United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) EM-385; and various ANSI standards.
Note: This course is an annual refresher course. Students must have a valid 40-Hour EM-385 Compliance certificate before taking this course. This annual refresher course is required in order to maintain a valid EM-385 Compliance certificate.
