Why Should You Take This 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Safety Training Course?
In this 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Safety Training course, students will learn how to properly erect and load scaffolds, prevent fall and electrical hazards, ladder safety, how to properly wear a full body harness and much more. In addition, anyone who uses a supported scaffold is required to have a Supported Scaffold User Certificate.
Supported scaffolds are one or more platforms supported by outrigger beams, brackets, poles, legs, uprights, posts, frames, or similar rigid support. This includes sidewalk bridge scaffolds, single pole scaffolds, tube and coupler scaffolds, fabricated frame scaffolds, outrigger scaffolds, needle beam scaffolds, mobile scaffolds, repair bracket scaffolds, and mast climber scaffolds that are mechanized or motorized.
The Following Topics Will Be Covered:
For New York City: Local Law 52 of 2005 requires that all workers using supported scaffolds on construction sites in New York City receive this training and get the 4 Hour scaffold card. Individuals must re-take this training course every 4 years

For developers and general contractors who are filing permits with the NYCDOB, ABC Safety Group provides safety training and site safety plans to cover your construction safety requirements. We provide SST cards and SST Training including SST Supervisor Training, 4 Hour Scaffold User Training, 30 Hour Construction Outreach Training (30 HR OSHA), 10 HR SST. We offer 30 Hour OSHA Training in person and in zoom. In addition to these services, we also provide NYC Licensed Construction Superintendent services. Covid19 plan is in place where we provide masks, hand sanitizer and screening as per CDC guidelines.
