This 4-Hour Silica Competent Person course is designed to train New York students on silica safety on worksites. Specifically, students will learn how to recognize silica exposure hazards during cutting, sawing, drilling, and other processes. Students will also learn what steps to take to prevent silica exposure and illnesses.
This course is based upon OSHA standard 1926.1153. There are no prerequisites for this course.
