This 2-Hour Site Safety Plan (SST-301) course is an elective course designed for construction workers in NYC. Specifically, students will review important safety topics as they pertain to the development of a site safety plan. This course counts toward requirements outlined by the NYC DOB for a Site Safety Training (SST) certification.

The Site Safety Plan is an important tool on a construction site. It quickly and clearly explains what is located where on the jobsite. A good site safety plan helps workers anticipate where certain hazards are present. This can drastically reduce workplace fatalities.

In this 2-hour course, students will learn the logistics behind planning and implementing a site safety plan. Students must pass a multiple choice written assessment in order to successfully complete the course. By the end of this interactive course, students will have fulfilled a portion of their training requirement as defined by NYC Local Law 196.
