Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to receive their SST card. The cost of the SST card (with verification that the student has their OSHA 30) is included in the price of the course (only for this package).

This course is Actively Proctored (in compliance with RCNY 105-03) through facial biometric recognition. All students must, have high-speed internet, web camera, and need to allow access to their camera. They will be monitored through facial recognition throughout the course. Students will also need to upload a government-issued ID to verify their identity before starting the course.

The course format includes videos that can be replayed for review. There are no manuals or downloads included. Students will have up to 3 attempts to pass the course final assessment, after which you will need to re-register to retake the course.

This 10-Hour SST Combo Course includes the 8-Hour Fall Prevention and 2-Hour Mental Health Awareness classes approved by NYC DOB for credit towards the necessary training for the Site Safety Training (SST) card.

The Fall Prevention section of the course provides construction employers and employees with information on recognizing potential fall hazards at their worksites and suggests ways to avoid, minimize, control or prevent the hazards whenever possible.

The Mental Health Awareness portion will address recognizing warning signs in themselves and their coworkers, understanding the importance of seeking help early, reducing workplace stigma surrounding mental health, and contributing to a safer and healthier construction environment.

NYC Requirement: In order to continue to operate in the City of New York, the designated construction worker is required to complete a minimum number of hours of approved site safety training and to carry site safety identification cards as proof of completion of the training (As per New York City Local Law 196 of 2017 also known as ‘LL196’ or ‘Local Law’). This course provides ten hours towards the satisfaction of that requirement.

В рамках раздела «Осведомленность о вопросах психического здоровья» участники научатся распознавать тревожные признаки у себя и своих коллег, поймут важность своевременного обращения за помощью, научатся снижать стигматизацию, связанную с психическим здоровьем на рабочем месте, и будут способствовать созданию более безопасной и здоровой среды на строительных объектах.

Требование города Нью-Йорка: для продолжения работы в городе Нью-Йорке назначенный строительный работник обязан пройти минимальное количество часов утвержденного обучения по безопасности на строительной площадке и иметь при себе идентификационные карточки безопасности на строительной площадке в качестве подтверждения прохождения обучения (в соответствии с Местным законом города Нью-Йорка № 196 от 2017 года, также известным как «LL196» или «Местный закон»). COURSE LOGISTICS
Certificates	For On-demand Courses: Students can download the Certificate of Completion immediately upon completing the course from the student profile page. For students who purchased the 10 Hour or the 32 Hour SST course package from PDH STAR, the SST card is issued free of charge, provided their OSHA 30 Construction card, ID and address can be verified, as per DOB requirements. For all other SST card requests, there is a separate SST card fee: for Site Safety SST card (Worker) the fee is $50 and for Supervisor SST cards the fee is $75. The SST card will be processed and mailed out within 5 business days after the student submits all required documents, notifies (via completed form available on the web site) PDH STAR that they have completed all training, and all external training has been verified. The SST card will not be issued, and no refund will be available, if any of the required training, ID or address cannot be verified, as per DOB requirements.

PDH STAR is a New York City Department of Buildings approved Site Safety Training (SST) provider (provider number 6M86). All of our courses are run by our OSHA Authorized Construction Trainers. We are a premier continuing education provider for the construction industry. Not only do we provide site safety training for site based staff, we are also an approved continuing education provider for Professional Engineers in all states that require continuing education. Our courses are developed by Professional Engineers and Site Safety Managers with decades of experience in the field and are designed to be engaging, practical and relevant to today’s challenges of working on a construction site. All of our instructors are veterans of the industry with a minimum of 20 years of experience in the field and hold relevant qualifications and credentials. In addition to covering the curriculum during the course, they lead discussions and share their life experiences with the students, creating an engaging and stimulating environment.
