This was a very informative and useful course. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful, always readily answered questions and genuinely wanted to help the students. The staff at DET were extremely helpful and went above and beyond helping me with a state licensing issue. Not only did they make calls to the state, but they set an appointment for me and when I still could not solve my issue, they contacted the state for additional instructions that were successful in solving my problem.

Instructor Orrett was good, knowledgeable, presented well.
Unfortunately, this was a combined mold remediation contractor and mold assessor class, and the material was heavily assessor oriented and very light on abatement or the requirements of Article 32. The class also spent more time on asbestos and lead issues than necessary.
I have been in the industry since 2004, held my NYS remediation contractor certification since 2015, so I had no personal problems and enjoyed the class as it broadened my knowledge. My experience is that the contractor class is one full day on the requirements and review of Article 32, and two days of abatement worker; this clas sorely did not cover this adequately. I absolutely would not be able to recommend this class for a newcomer as it would be a disservice to them as they would not get the training and skills they need for abatement work. Ramon A.

The class was extremely informative thanks to the outright knowledge of the instructors. I went in to this class with no knowledge of Remediation and
Mold at all. I feel confident after the classes that I can now know the process and knowledge to identify Mold and remove it. As well as Remediation of water damage to prevent Mold from appearing. RANDHIR S.

The training was more then I expected.
The lesson plan and the direction that the Instructor had. Kept all clients in gaged and on course.
The instructor was respectful, had great life experience to share about the field.
I work for NYC Department Of Environmental Protection. This course and will be shared among my colleagues and co-works. As well as my own company employees.
I look forward to going back and bring my employees to experience the same.

Had 3 different instructors in 3 days and nobody knew what the other covered. Big Apple changed the course dates and didn't let anybody know until halfway thru the second day of a 3 day class. Zack Academy helped a lot to rectify it, but it was also a lot of aggravation on my part to get things right. James V.
