Mold Assessor and Remediation Contractor Combo - NY

The 4-day Mold Assessor and Remediation Contractor Combo course is for individuals that will perform Mold inspection and Remediation. Course topics will cover hazard assessment and mold remediation plans. This course will lead to a certification in Mold Assessor and Mold Remediation Contractor (two separate certifications). New York State regulations require any individual performing mold assessment and Remediation to attend an accredited mold assessor and Remediation training program. Upon successful completion of the course, student will have to submit an application to New York State Department of Labor Licensing unit to obtain a license.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Participants who wish to receive a NYS Mold License are required to have a valid NYS DMV ID number, in the form of a drivers license or non-driver state ID card. You do not have to be a resident of NY to apply for a non-driver ID card.

In overall Dr. K (instructor) has a very good method of teaching based on his experience and practice to which make easy for the students without experience in the Mold field to understand better and practical the procedures for testing, assessing, remediating it, but as well a clear understanding of the environment outside and interior, his explanation it embrace so much as to the practical or hands on training, I'm very pleased to have participated in this class as environmental supervisor and contractor, acquiring a new skill and knowledge in different field, thank you again to Dr. K Balvi
