The New York State Department of Labor requires this NYS Mold Abatement Worker Initial course for individuals that perform any type of mold remediation or abatement work in any capacity and are employed by a licensed mold remediation contractor. This course will cover the health hazards of mold, practical methods of dealing with mold safely and efficiently, and best practices for everything from preparation to cleanup. Upon successful completion of the course, students can apply for the New York State Department of Labor certified Mold Abatement Worker license.
