LEED Green Associate is the introductory-level professional credential under the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) program, and demonstrates a general understanding of all the LEED green building rating systems.
The LEED Green Associate Exam Prep classes provide an introduction to green building and sustainable design principles, specifically as they relate to USGBC's LEED green building rating system. This course prepares individuals to pass the LEED Green Associate exam on the first try, and is the first step in becoming a LEED professional.
This course is fully updated for the new LEED v5 credentialing exams released in 2026!
How do I get LEED Certified? Individuals can become LEED accredited by passing the USGBC credentialing exams. It is recommended to take an exam prep course to help prepare for the exam and to pass on your first try. Exams are scheduled through Prometric testing centers and can be proctored online or completed in-person at a local center.

I enjoyed Lorne's presentation on the LEED subjects. I thought he was professional and passionate about what he's teaching, which makes it easier to us to listen to and learn from. He should continue using as many real life situations as he can to relate his points to the subject matter. The class could have been better if we didn't get stuck on some of the students' questions and made it through the entire agenda.

I would say with all respect. The professor looked a little bored. Probably is my perception, but talking so fast and lack of passion was something that I noticed.
It seemed to me that was something he was done for so many times that became monotonous.

She was good and informative. However, she was very rushed as she arrived over an hour late. While she shared a lot of information about LEED with good examples, she only discussed specifics about how the information translates on the exam after being asked. I really liked the instructor, Lorne. He brings personality and life to the material and makes it interesting.
The location of the course was poor for me. Traffic and parking around the UofT campus is a nightmare, and the room itself was hot, stuffy and uncomfortable.
I like the amount of ongoing information prior to the course, and also lots of information given afterwards. I feel prepared to take the exam. Geremie G.
