Online Lead General Continuing Education - CA Courses
This Online Lead General Continuing Education - CA course meets CDPH continuing education requirements for certified Lead Supervisors, Inspector/Risk Assessors, Project Designers, Sampling Technicians, and Project Monitors. During the online course basic elements of the initial course are reviewed, which includes new techniques and developments of lead-based paint.
Your California Department of Public Health (CDPH) lead license must be renewed every year. Maintain your certification by completing at least 7 hours of CDPH-approved lead-related construction Continuing Education every two years.
Please Note: This is a blended course that features online course material and in-person training. The online CDPH accredited course consists of two parts:
Part 1: Online Training (5 hours) - This part is completed online at your convenience, and must be completed prior to attending the hands-on session.
Part 2: Hands-On & Exam (2 hours) - This part will require you to come into our facility where you will complete 30 minutes of hands on and then have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete your exam. Select your in-person training session from the dates and times listed on the schedule.

I liked the online feature of the course, I think it would have been a much better and better-received course if these improvements are made:
A. some of the quiz's questions were artificially difficult based on seldom used issues. E.g, I've been a Certified Industrial Hygienist for over 40 yrs, and it's plain silly to ask about table #s, etc., such as HUD Guideline Table 8.1. It causes unnecessary anxiety and made me waste a lot more time preparing.
B. Question #27 in the Final Quiz is out-dated. The standards have been changed for 2 years. Rebekah D.

I am so grateful that they were open so myself and others could take the test.
