This 2-day Lead Risk Assessor Certification Initial training includes how to conduct an on-site investigation to determine the existence, nature, severity, and location of lead- based paint hazards, and the creation of a report by the person or the lead firm conducting the risk assessment, explaining the results of the investigation and options for reducing lead-based hazards. Course includes EPA’s model training materials.
Participants must have a valid Lead Inspector training certificate to attend the Risk Assessor training. Candidates should also be aware of the education and experience requirements before registering. Click View Details for any upcoming event to learn more.
Those working in industrial or public building settings other than target housing or child occupied facilities, generally, do not need government certification or licensing. All that is required is your training certificate achieved in this class.

Risk Assessor Certification course covered both the big picture and key details needed to succeed. Just understand that there is a LOT of info covered very quickly in both videos and discussion. So unless you have a photographic memory be prepared to take lots of notes and ask questions. I did and passed 1st try the next day. John K.

I would highly rate the course taught by the Seagull staff. They give you a lot of useful information, most of which is very dry subject matter, but provide it in a palatable way.
