Lead Renovator Certification Initial Spanish Courses in New York

This Lead Renovator (RRP) Training Course is conducted in Spanish, including all course materials and final exam. It is an 8-hour class, and follows the EPA or EPA-authorized state curriculum for safely performing installations, repairs, renovations, or painting in housing and child-facilities built before 1978 which may have lead paint present.

Lead poisoning resulting from renovations and other activities that create lead dust is a serious issue, but one that can be mitigated with the proper lead-safe practices utilized by building professionals, property managers, or anyone executing this type of work on target buildings.

At least one person who has completed this 8-hour training must be present on qualifying job sites, supervising the work and following proper record-keeping techniques. These requirements will be reviewed in detail through lecture and hands-on activities throughout the course.
