This CDPH Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor Initial combo training is designed to provide information for those individuals who perform lead-based paint inspections and/or clearance examinations on abatement and renovation projects in California.
This course will teach the legal obligations facing inspectors when inspecting for lead hazards, and individuals will learn to determine whether or not lead-based paint or other lead hazards are present in sufficient quantities to require abatement according to regulatory guidelines. This workshop prepares you to immediately apply your knowledge to the field, with extensive hands-on training and real-world examples from experienced instructors.

Great course for introduction into Lead. They provided the learning materials and kept the room spaced out for safe distance learning. The quizzes throughout the course were helpful to retain knowledge. The exam at the end truly tested our knowledge. The course instructor was very knowledgeable about lead topics, regulations, and guidelines. I would take another course at this facility. Aaron M.

The instructor was friendly and encouraged us to ask questions. He took the time to answer and was honest when he didn’t know the answer. Al Dages was our instructor for 4 days and Max Quintana was our instructor for 1 day. Both were very knowledgeable and there work expierence was very helpful in providing insights into the program.
I have worked in the industry for 7 years and have previously passed the DHS Monitor Test. That being said, I still learned many things and we were all encourged to participate in the class. It was very enjoyable. Jesus V.

The instructors demonstrate that they have extensive experience of the field, which is a plus for the course, the only complaint is that the study material is not well organized and I think it is because we are taking two courses in one, instructors were jumping from one book to another, and it was confusing, my recommendation for them is they will need to create a specific study material for this course in particular. The exposition was excellent, including many particular cases and examples taken from real cases on the field.
