This Lead Abatement Supervisor Refresher training provides a review of information on lead-based paint abatement and regulatory guidelines for those individuals that will plan and/or oversee lead abatement work as a competent person. This one day course reviews essential abatement procedures including site preparation, contract planning, project management, abatement implementation, record-keeping and includes 2 hours of hands-on. Includes OSHA 29 CFR 1926.62 and other heavy metals training.
Those working in industrial or public building settings other than target housing or child occupied structures, generally, do not need government certification or licensing. All that is required is your training certificate achieved in this class.

the training material is good and very informative so get 4 stars, I've trained with Seagull for 20 years, the problem with the refresher training is you start out doing the 40-hour class again, when day up you stop, need to have an 8-hour refresher video/class setup Robert M.

The instructor himself was nice and pleasant. He was attentive and asked if I had question often. I didn't expect to do the refresher course on the computer by myself. I was expecting an in-person course with the instructor along with other students taking the same course. There were other courses taking place at the same time in the same room. I have been attending my LEAD refresher courses with Seagull (Zack Academy) in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for almost 20 years now. Jim is a great instructor and these courses have helped me a lot and has brought me up to date on any changes. I like that it is a small class (I had 5 in mine) which allows you ask questions and talk one on one or together as a group if needed. You usually meet someone who has experience in your field and they share their information. I would highly recommend Seagull for all your training needs.
