Lead Abatement Supervisor Refresher Courses
This Lead Abatement Supervisor refresher training provides information on lead-based paint abatement and regulatory guidelines. This course meets the EPA or applicable EPA-Authorized state lead program training requirements for those individuals that will plan and/or oversee lead abatement work. A certified Supervisor can perform all of the duties that a Worker can. In addition, a Supervisor is responsible for occupant safety during the abatement process and for writing the abatement plan. The course focuses on essential abatement procedures including site preparation, contract planning, project management, abatement implementation and record-keeping.

Found the Lead Supervisor recertification class online three days before the training class was scheduled to take place in Buffalo NY, which made me very happy because my certification runs out shortly. I previously had the same class instructor who guided me through obtaining my initial Lead Supervisor certification just shy of 3 years ago, so having him teach again was wonderful since he has years of knowledge in this field (over 22 years). The course is very task oriented and direct with the purpose of keeping us in the field for the next three years. As a refresher course, the Q&A you would get in a classroom setting is not required as every participant is a returning professional in the field of at least three years. Because of this, the course moves very fluidly and the questions that were are asked got answered without much cross talk and debate.
