Why should you take this training?

The federal government has determined that all states and municipalities must “at the very least” adopt the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) as their minimum energy code compliance document. Each state must show 90% compliance with the 2009 IECC by the year 2017. There will be a tremendous need for inspectors to make the transition to these codes. The ongoing commitment to the construction of energy efficient buildings will require inspectors that are trained and certified to inspect those buildings. As an IECC code inspector you are qualified to perform inspections on residential and commercial structures and their plan analysis in order to insure the structures comply with the code.
