Electrical Wiring Maintenance Online Anytime Courses

This Electrical Wiring Maintenance Online Certification course will teach students the knowledge and skills related to the installation, repair and maintenance of residential electrical systems. Graduates will be awarded a Technical Certificate in Electrical Wiring Maintenance.

This program is offered fully online to be completed at your own pace, and consists of six course modules: Basic Electricity; General Wiring Maintenance; Advanced Wiring Maintenance; NECodes I; NECodes II; NECode Calculations.

Students will learn how to repair wall switches, lighting fixtures, commonly used circuits and how to install breaker panels and junction boxes. Emphasis will be placed on making repairs in a safe and efficient manner through the use of electrical system diagrams.
