Students will be able to understand and describe the basic components of construction safety. They will recognize the hazards inherent at a construction job site, and describe ways to prevent those hazards. Finally they will learn the responsibilities of both the employer and the employee in observing established safety practices.
Please Note: The Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) requires residential contractors to complete six (6) hours per year by your original licensing date to renew your Louisiana Contractor License. This increased in January, 2012 from four hours to six hours each year. Students will have up to six months of access to course content.
