6-Hour MA CSL Renewal Option 1 - LeadSMART Courses

The 6-Hour MA CSL Renewal Option 1 - LeadSMART course reviews essential information necessary for renewal of the Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (MA CSL). Students will receive in-depth instruction on building code, business practices and residential energy code as it applies to the State of Massachusetts.

This course is approved for the following topic hours: Code (3 hours); Energy (2 hours); Business Practices (1 hour).

This class can be paired with the 6-hour Online CSL CEU class to get all 12 of your required hours.

Through live instruction, this course presents important business and worksite practices so that contractors are in accordance with state laws. Upon successful completion, students will earn 6 CEUs towards their MA CSL.

Note: This course is designed for students who already hold an MA CSL license. Licensees who renew a license or are issued a first-time license on or after July 1, 2011 must comply with education requirements following a full two-year cycle. Unrestricted Licensees need 12 hours every two (2) years with a maximum of 6 hours completed online.

I thought the info presented was great. The explanations were very easy to understand. Next time, I will not do the 6 hours... I thought the info presented was great. The explanations were very easy to understand. Next time, I will not do the 6 hours online course but will elect to do a 2 day class instead.

The instructor was great. He conveyed a lot of useful material while covering sometimes "boring" parts of the code. His presentation... The instructor was great. He conveyed a lot of useful material while covering sometimes "boring" parts of the code. His presentation along with very likable personality made this learning experience great. I did 6 hours online and now I think next time I will do all 12 in the classroom, I got a lot more out of it and the interaction was valuable beyond the general info the course was offering.

This course was excellent and with that, instead of taking the second 6 hours online, I decided to go next Tuesday and take... This course was excellent and with that, instead of taking the second 6 hours online, I decided to go next Tuesday and take the second 6 hours in person. The instructor was clear, concise and had real time examples of what we will see happening in the construction industry today. I found the workman's comp insurance part of the class enlightening. I will be using some of the advice given in selecting and monitoring out liability and comp insurance. I would highly recommend this to anyone!!!
