1C / 2A Hoisting License Preparation and Continuing Education Courses

If you operate equipment in Massachusetts that is capable of raising 10+ feet, lifting 500+ pounds, or holding over 1/4 yard of material MA DPS requires you to be licensed.

This 1C/2A Hoisting License Preparation and Continuing Education Course prepares you for the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety 2A and/or 1C Hoisting Engineers License exams, allowing workers to operate front end loaders, backhoes and excavators (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D) and/or operate a hydraulic boom with no cable, industrial forklifts and all terrain lull type forklifts (1C, 1D). This training covers items needed to pass the state exam and to cover refresher CEU’s (Continuing Education Units) for those who already possess the above mentioned hoisting engineer classification.
