This Principles of Home Inspection: System & Standards course provides 140 hours of training required for New Jersey Home Inspectors as governed by the NJ Administrative Code Title 13. This program is distributed of ten 14-hour online course modules. The field training portion of the course requires students to perform 40 hours of inspection reporting under the supervision of a licensed New Jersey Home Inspector. Field training is to be coordinated with course trainer.
This course is based on the Carson and Dunlop - Principles of Home Inspection: Systems and Standards Third Edition Textbook.

We are a Veteran owned and Operated Home Inspection School. Our classroom instruction prepares students to pass the National Home Inspector Test. Our course is a true Hybrid Course, students can attend classes in person on site in our Somerset, NJ class location or online via Zoom. Our classroom instruction is 140 hours over 10 weeks. We also provide the 40 hours of field mentoring as an add-on to registered students.
