Leather Cleaning & Repair Specialist is a comprehensive one-day webinar, in which students will acquire the fundamental abilities and know-how required to correctly clean, restore, preserve and mend leather goods. This includes furniture, coats, handbags, shoes, belts and much more! This course can be taken for 7 IICRC CE credits and is recognized as an approved IICRC Continuing Education Course (CEC).
Students will learn how to identify the unique qualities of each type of leather and the best to clean and maintain it. They will also learn how to spot common stains and remove them without causing further damage, as well as how to apply conditioners and protectants to restore moisture, stop cracking and shield against future damage. Students will gain knowledge on how to fix small rips and dings in leather as well as how to polish and apply finishes to bring back the material's sheen and texture.
