This Intro to Water Damage Restoration course is designed for anyone working in the property restoration, insurance repair, or facilities management industries. This course will provide a basic overview of water damage, drying, equipment, and more. By the end of this course, students will have an understanding of the scope of water damage restoration jobs and terms commonly used on the jobsite.
This course will help you discuss the water damage restoration process with your clients if you are a restoration contractor, insurance adjuster, or facilities manager. This is not an IICRC Certification course; however, upon successful completion of the course, students may earn 4 IICRC continuing education credits if they currently hold an IICRC certification.
Topics to be Covered: Introduction to the IICRC and S500; Categories of Water Damage; Classes of Water Damage; Water Damaged Materials and Assemblies; Demolition; Drying Overview; Restoration Equipment
