IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) Courses in New York
This IICRC-accredited Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course is designed to provide basic education for technicians and other materially interested parties in the science and practice of water damage restoration. This course will cover extraction, basic containment and basic mold procedures. This course is designed to teach non-restoration personnel that perform remediation work to give them a better concept of water damage, its effects and techniques for drying of structures. This course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows and contamination such as mold.

Greg was awesome. He made the WRT class easy to follow and kept it interesting with drills, repetition, and real examples. He’s funny, very smart, and tells great stories that make the concepts click. The best part is he takes time to answer every single question — he doesn’t skip over anyone. Highly enjoyable experience! The instructor explained the material using real-world examples, which made everything much easier to understand. Chris was great! He was informative, engaging, and professional. Through out this course Chris went above and beyond for everyone, making sure that we understood all the materials that we were covering and if there were any questions, they would be answered in a thorough way. In his course, he made sure we were prepared and knowledgeable for the upcoming exam. With all the materials that we covered in a 3 day course, I was personally overwhelmed; however Chris went above and beyond with having "homework" and a mock exam that the class was able to take advantage of prior to the exam, thanks to him and the tools he made available to us, I was able to pass the exam and be WRT certified! I was very impressed with Greg and Tracy. Greg was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the topic he presented. He was able to adjust his presentation to match the questions tossed out by the class. No student finished the course with any unanswered questions.
Tracy provided the class with documents not only for the planned classroom needs but information to help us prepare for the IICRC WRT exam. Her emails were timely and helpful.

I took this class online with instructor Greg from RMTC. The learning experience was very enjoyable and the provided materials helped each topic soak in my brain. Greg helps tie the learning environment together and truly knows the topic he is teaching.
