IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) Courses in California
This IICRC-accredited Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course is designed to provide basic education for technicians and other materially interested parties in the science and practice of water damage restoration. This course will cover extraction, basic containment and basic mold procedures. This course is designed to teach non-restoration personnel that perform remediation work to give them a better concept of water damage, its effects and techniques for drying of structures. This course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows and contamination such as mold.

Anthony was my instructor for WRT. He was very knowledgeable and passionate and professional. I ask a lot of questions and he took the time to make sure that I was comfortable with the comprehension being this is my first Water Class. He was able to keep my attention and included the whole class I. Exercises for participation. I feel good about the information that I obtained and hope that the test is similar to what I will be evaluated on. Great Course to learn the ins and outs of psychrometry! Hands down Chris is the best instructor I have ever had. The privilege of learning from in my 13 years of doing restoration work. He is the most personable, knowledgeable, humble, funny and inviting instructor in my opinion from his powerpoints to the videos, he shows. To his own personal experiences in the field that he'll share to listening to the students is unbelievable. The amount he cares not only for water restoration, but for all current and new technicians coming into the field is unmeasurable. I thoroughly enjoyed this course with Chris. He is professional, clear and detailed in his instruction. His materials were thorough. Chris encouraged participation and responded to every question and comment from the students. Chris is clearly an expert in this field and is well versed in the IICRC code. Chris was a fantastic instructor, the only "issue" I would say is lack of time for the course. Not his fault by any means, the course should be 4 full days instead of 3.
He answered our questions promptly, was very helpful when it came to explaining and clarifying. His real-world examples were useful in how to think about the jobs we'll get going into the field. I would recommend him for anyone taking the course, and any other courses he may teach. Herman K.

Mr Ron was very informative about the WRT class and IICRC handbook and had knowledge on many subjects of interest kept his students engaged during class time asking questions and answering them as well I took my test the next day and got a 83.3 % and now have my WRT Certification.
