IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician / Applied Structural Drying (WRT / ASD) Combo Courses
This Water Damage Restoration Technician/Applied Structural Drying (WRT/ASD) Combo course allows students to become certified as both a Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and an Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD). This course must be attended in its entirety and completion of both WRT and ASD exams during that same five (5) day time period. If any portion of the course and exam are not completed during the five (5) day period, the student would be required to re-attend the entire five (5) course to receive both certifications. No portion of the five (5) day course could be applied to either a WRT or ASD course being taught separately.

I was very impressed with the training. To be honest, I was expecting a very boring week of memorization and math. It was not that at all. Our instructor, Mark, made the information very easy to digest and retain with a mix of repetition and real world experiences that helped the memorization. Very good experience overall. The WRT/ASD Combo course was informative, well organized, and easy to follow. The instructor from Guarantee Restoration Services, LLC did a great job explaining the material in a way that was clear and practical, with real-world knowledge that made the training even more valuable. I left the class with a better understanding of water damage restoration and structural drying, and I feel more confident applying what I learned in the field. I recently completed the Water Remediation and Structural Drying course, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Mark was a knowledgeable and engaging instructor who clearly understands the real-world challenges of water damage restoration. He explained complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand and backed everything up with practical examples that actually apply in the field. The course was well-organized, informative, and gave me a much stronger understanding of proper drying techniques, equipment usage, and industry best practices. Hands down Kevin is one of the best teachers I have encountered. Well spoken, gave great examples, was very patient, a great listener and treated us with kindness and honor as if we were his own kids. Great instructor with lots of knowledge of the business. Couple of suggestions to improve the course are use different tactics when teaching the calculations. Suggest going over a problem as a class step by step, then maybe work a couple problems in smaller workgroups. Second suggestion, the course material needs edited as there are way too many words to describe simple processes. Editing and consolidating the language would drastically improve overall performance of the course. Travis U.

Course was very informative, reached the class in all learning forms, visual, auditory and hands on. Great personable instruction and fast moving so there was no chance of getting lost in dream land. My only advice is to tell the class on day one that the test is closed book, I study differently for closed book, need to memorize data as opposed to learning to reference the notes or printed data. Holly is a great teacher. It's one thing to be skilled in the field and know the ins and outs, but to be able to teach those "ins and outs" and best practices is very impressive. She had a great handle on the classroom and was very informative in her examples and ensuring we understand key points.
