I was a little hesitant to take an on-line class only because I learn better hands on. Sandy had no idea I was a retired Type 1 Haz-Mat Captain for the Bakersfield Fire Department for 32 years. I listened in to see if she was blowing smoke on all the chemistry that is taught in this class. I have to say that Sandy has got to be one of the most knowledgeable instructors I have had the pleasure of taking a class with. If you're looking to take this class, Sandy's humor and quick wittedness makes the class a fun place to be. Craig was the instructor for FSRT cert class. Craig was very thorough in his review of the material. Class started on time; he was helpful and patient with those that were having trouble signing on. His experience and knowledge were salient to all of the material covered. He kept things moving forward and was very clear about the requirements for certification and the procedure requirements. I took my test immediately after and scored well, due to the thoroughness of the information presented. Rudy shared his professional experience and personal stories to enhance and illustrate the principles in the Guide. He went through all the material in the Guide and added extra information that was helpful. He welcomed questions and took regular mini breaks that helped the class focus.
