This IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) course is designed to teach the effective, efficient and timely drying of water-damaged structures and contents, using comprehensive classroom and hands-on training, in order to facilitate appropriate decision making within a restorative drying environment. Emphasis will be placed on teaching applied structural drying techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform these services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.

 I learned a lot, got some great ideas from the facility to bring back to help our day-to-day operations. Instructor...  I learned a lot, got some great ideas from the facility to bring back to help our day-to-day operations. Instructor was very knowledgeable, patient and thorough. The hands on was awesome. Facility was amazing, the three days flew by! Much better than other classes I have taken, facility was clean, food was great, everyone was friendly.

Chris is the best instructors I’ve had!! Very engaging and so encouraging. He explains the material so well and is so knowledgeable.... Chris is the best instructors I’ve had!! Very engaging and so encouraging. He explains the material so well and is so knowledgeable. He made the class fun which I appreciate! Being able to apply what was taught helped so much in the demo house next to the warehouse. OVR employees and facility were great. Definitely would recommend this class.

The teacher and class were great and very informative. We were limited on the amount of time drying the house and there were... The teacher and class were great and very informative. We were limited on the amount of time drying the house and there were not quite enough machines to get things dry. Overall it was really good, just needed a bit more time in the flood house

The staff (Zack Academy) followed up with my to make sure I was signed up and ready to take the class even when I missed a few emails. The staff (OVR) were very friendly and helpful. The instructor Kevin was great can kept all the students engaged and made sure we understood the lessons and were not bored.

Our instructor was very knowledgeable and very skilled in teaching the course material. He was open to questions from all... Our instructor was very knowledgeable and very skilled in teaching the course material. He was open to questions from all of us in the class throughout the course and the class moved along at a pace, where we were all learning together and making progress in the information we needed to learn. I believe the environment he created allowed me to get to know other members of the class and make some contacts that will help me in the future. It was very clear that he is an advocate to the industry and I am very happy that I took this class at Restoration Academy.
