This 3-day Hands-On Rug Washing Course is a comprehensive course designed for restoration professionals who work with rugs and other textiles. Attendees will learn the latest industry techniques for avoiding common issues such as shrinkage, color bleeding, improper drying, and waste contamination.
This course also includes two industry-specific bonuses: a tour of a local rug washing facility and a bonus marketing segment. These bonus learning experiences are included for free with registration. Students will be able to observe a real rug washing facility and learn from real industry insiders. The bonus marketing segment will teach students how to sell their new skill to their local market.
This Rug Washing course qualifies for 2 IICRC Continuing Education Credits. Students are encouraged to bring their own problem rugs to class to learn how to clean them under expert supervision. Rugs must be 5' x 8' or smaller.
