The Asbestos Transite Worker training is for limited Class II OSHA work to remove transite pipe (cement pipe) or paneling that may contain asbestos. This 8-hour training with hands-on exercises is only for employees performing Class II operations involving transite material containing asbestos. Class II work must be supervised by a qualified Competent Person.

NOTE: This course is for Class II work only. For Class I removal work, please view the Asbestos Worker/Handler course.

Great experience at the location we visited. I had the opportunity to meet with Jim, who is a scholar of his profession and helped my colleague and I become more knowledgeable in asbestos. Great information for the all-video training course. It wasn't tailored towards Transite asbestos work like I believed it to be, and the building was pretty run down. Overall, I had a fair experience.
