This Asbestos Roofer Worker course, conducted in Spanish, is designed for individuals who perform the removal of asbestos roofing materials after the competent person on the project inspects a roof to determine whether or not asbestos containing roofing materials are present. It is accepted for mandatory state licensing and accreditation of roofing workers on regulated asbestos abatement projects. It also covers topics required by OSHA for Class II asbestos roof removal. Course content includes lecture, hands-on training, specific work practices, engineering controls, health effects, housekeeping procedures, hygiene facilities, personal protection equipment, and decontamination procedures.
