This Asbestos Building Inspector Initial training course accredits individuals to assess the condition of asbestos material and report the results. Any person who performs the tasks involved in the asbestos survey, identification and assessment of the condition of asbestos and asbestos material, or who is involved in the collection of bulk samples of asbestos material for laboratory analysis, needs this training. This workshop prepares you to immediately apply your knowledge to the field, with extensive hands-on training and real-world examples from experienced instructors.
Please Note: Your state has detailed education, experience and application processing requirements to qualify for licensing in the Asbestos field. Most states administer their own asbestos programs, and each state's Department of Environmental Protection/Health is generally the best place to start with questions about requirements and training. Students are responsible to verify these requirements and reciprocity prior to registering for a course.

My asbestos inspection and assessment class was taught and easily understood by the instructors. The class itself is very thorough and there’s a lot of information involved, but my instructors made sure they told it in a way understood and could ingest the information. Highly recommended! Uriel V.

I completed both the Asbestos Inspector and Environmental Management classes last week. When I arrived at the Baymeadows location for my week-long course, I was welcomed and met two individuals who helped me with whatever I needed to be successful.
The course format was different from what I’m used to since everything was presented in a movie format. While I enjoyed watching the videos, there were times I preferred having a face-to-face instructor. Nonetheless, the instructor was excellent—answering all my questions and even providing scenarios to help us better understand each procedure.
Overall, I’d rate the week-long class an 8/10. Thanks so much to everyone who helped me get certified. See you all next year! Dallin S.

Depending on your background knowledge, a lot of info in 3 days. If you're new to this subject, may be tough to follow. But if you have some basic knowledge it's easier to follow and helped me better understand what my consultants are looking for when collecting samples and accessing the work. Steven M.

The material covered was very informative and i took away a good understanding of Asbestos. The format in which it was taught was good, however I would have liked a little hands on training. The site staff administration—Leon—was fantastic. The trainer—Jim —was wonderful, with great experience and advice brought to the classroom. Jim opened up the subject matter well and unpacked everything for me to understand the nuts and bolts of the agencies and laws involved.
