IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) Courses
This IICRC-accredited Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course is designed to provide basic education for technicians and other materially interested parties in the science and practice of water damage restoration. This course will cover extraction, basic containment and basic mold procedures. This course is designed to teach non-restoration personnel that perform remediation work to give them a better concept of water damage, its effects and techniques for drying of structures. This course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows and contamination such as mold.

Michael has thorough knowledge of the multiple areas of involvement in the process of "Drying" a water effected structure. His use of the manual along with his narrative was useful in understanding the processes of this work and the equipment, tools and calculations necessary to be successful in mitigating the categories of water affected areas. There was a lot of information to take in and at times it felt overwhelming but his daily review of the materials studied the prior day was helpful in easing those concerns. There were intermittent audio issues that were at times interruptive but with Michael's communication skills those issues were resolved expediently. I appreciated Michael's sharing the wealth of knowledge and history he possesses in this area of study and would gladly learn under his study in the future! Tammy A.

My Instructor Kevin was great! He was easy to listen to and not boring. He gave relevant examples and made the material easy to understand. He moved at a decent pace without losing people. He is able to stay on task and does not switch subjects back and forth. He is a good listener and remembers things people in the class tell him to make the class relevant to each profession. He was prepared and operated his screens without difficulty or failure. Class started on time in the morning as well as after breaks or lunch.
