This CESCL: Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead Training Online for WA course provides required training to perform stormwater monitoring and inspection on construction sites in the state of Washington.
This course is comprised of six online on-demand modules and four virtual instructor-led modules. At the end of course instruction, there is an online exam. Students must pass the exam and successfully complete training sessions in order to earn their certificate. If the final exam is not passed successfully, participants can retake a new randomized exam until a passing grade is achieved.
Access to this course will not expire, so students may complete the online on-demand portion of this course at their convenience. The live virtual webinar training session is offered at the date and time listed on this course registration. Students will only earn their certificate once all training sessions, both the live webinar and on-demand modules, are complete and they have passed the final exam online.
This certificate is valid for three years.
According to state guidelines, all construction projects within the State of Washington must designate at least one person as the responsible representative in charge of Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC), and water quality protection. This course provides training to certify professionals to provide this service.
