Why Should You Take This Rough Terrain Fork Truck Operator Course?
Rough terrain forklift trucks which comply with the stability requirements are stable when properly
operated. Improper operation, faulty maintenance, or poor housekeeping may contribute to a condition of instability.
This Rough Terrain Fork Truck Operator course includes instruction, a practical evaluation, and written examination. Certifications of training will be valid for three years. Topics covered include OSHA requirements, general operating rules, pre-operation inspection, start-up procedures, capabilities, re-fueling procedures, entering/exiting, components/controls, spotters and hand signals, stability triangles, maintenance and traveling speeds.
