This 2-hour Mercury Awareness - Online course teaches important safety methods for recognizing and avoiding mercury hazards on industrial sites. This course is targeted toward those who may come into contact with mercury through demolitions, construction, renovation or other similar activities.
This course teaches mercury awareness in adherence to OSHA 29 CFR 1910. Students will learn how to the signs and symptoms of mercury exposure and what to do if they come into contact with this potentially dangerous material. Students will also learn appropriate methods for working around mercury as well as how to test for critical levels of mercury concentration.
This course is provided entirely online. Students will be able to start and start course modules as necessary.
