Industrial Accident Investigation Courses

This 8 hour Industrial Accident Investigation course will assist students tasked with conducting industrial accident investigations. Many states mandate that some form of investigation be performed in the event of an accident, industrial-related illness, injury or near-miss. Attendees will learn investigative techniques to help determine the "root cause" of the event. Witness interview techniques, scene safety, size up and control, photo-documentation, evidence collection and chain of custody. At the end of the presentation, students will conduct a mock investigation and present their findings to the class. All materials are provided in this educational, yet entertaining presentation.
