This 40-Hour Site Safety Manager course is for construction professionals applying to take the Site Safety Manager exam or registering with the NYC Department of Buildings as a Site Safety Coordinator or Registered Construction Superintendent. This course is required by NYC Department of Buildings before taking the written examination for a New York City Site Safety Manager.

Jobsite Requirements, Application Fees, Experience Requirements:
The New York City Department of Buildings certifies Site Safety Coordinators, Site Safety Managers and Construction Superintendents as part of an ongoing effort to ensure construction sites are managed safely by professionals.
A Certified Site Safety Manager must be onsite at all construction or demolitions of major buildings that are 15 or more stories or 100,000 square feet or greater. Exam Fee: $ 350. Registration Fee: $ 300. Renewal Fee: $ 150. Late Renewal Fee: $ 50. Registration Term: 3 Years. | Certificates | For On-demand Courses: Students can download the Certificate of Completion immediately upon completing the course from the student profile page. For students who purchased the 10 Hour or the 32 Hour SST course package from PDH STAR, the SST card is issued free of charge, provided their OSHA 30 Construction card, ID and address can be verified, as per DOB requirements. For all other SST card requests, there is a separate SST card fee: for Site Safety SST card (Worker) the fee is $50 and for Supervisor SST cards the fee is $75. The SST card will be processed and mailed out within 5 business days after the student submits all required documents, notifies (via completed form available on the web site) PDH STAR that they have completed all training, and all external training has been verified. The SST card will not be issued, and no refund will be available, if any of the required training, ID or address cannot be verified, as per DOB requirements. |

We are a premier continuing education provider for the construction industry. Not only do we provide site safety training for site based staff, we are also an approved continuing education provider for Professional Engineers in all states that require continuing education.
