De acuerdo con la Local Law 52 of 2005, 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Safety training course se enseña en español, se requiere para los trabajadores que utilizan andamios soportados en obras de construcción en la ciudad de Nueva York. Este curso básico se explican los fundamentos de la seguridad andamio fijo y presenta a los estudiantes los posibles peligros en el trabajo. Este curso enfatiza el papel del usuario andamio en la prevención de accidentes, que incluye inspecciones de andamios , reconocer los riesgos y atención de emergencias.

Andamios soportados son una o más plataformas soportadas por las vigas voladizas, soportes, postes, piernas, pies derechos, postes, marcos o soportes rígidos similares. Esto incluye andamios acera de puentes, andamios de un solo polo, el tubo de acoplamiento y andamios, andamios de marcos fabricados, los andamios voladizos, andamios haz de agujas, andamios móviles, andamios de palometas de reparación, andamios mástil trepador que son mecanizada o motorizada. 


Who Should Attend This Course? 

This course is designed for a diverse population of professions who use supported scaffolds in NYC, such as construction workers, safety inspectors, safety managers, engineers and architects, and many others.

 

Course Completion Process:  Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certificate picture ID card that will be valid for 4 years.

 

Prerequisites:  There are no prerequisites for attending this course.

  

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Identify main supported scaffold types and their essential components.
  • Discuss common supported scaffold hazards based on statistical and historical data provided.
  • Outline supported scaffold Federal Regulations and their sources
  • Develop skills necessary to integrate regulations when using supported scaffold systems on the job site.
  • Relate learned procedures when visually inspecting supported scaffolds on construction sites.
  • Assemble supported scaffolds in compliance with NYC Building Codes

 

Course Completion Requirements:  Students are required to complete 100% of the course and actively participate in all learning activities including hands-on exercises. 




COURSE LOGISTICS
CertificatesStudents receive temporary certificates at the end of class. Flagger and Scaffold students will receive photo ID cards by mail in under 2 weeks. OSHA students will receive OSHA cards by mail in approximately 30 days.
