This NORMI Certified Remediation for Sensitized Individuals (NCRSI) course provides training on remediating the properties of mold sensitized individuals. Students will learn advance techniques for performing work on these properties including contamination control and air quality evaluation.
Current medical data suggests almost 20% of people have a genetic predisposition to mold sensitivity. Symptoms of mold sensitivity can include difficulty breathing, headaches, and dizziness. Oftentimes, mold sensitivity is triggered by poorly controlled mold remediation projects. For these sensitized individuals, it is important for mold remediators to work carefully. This course teaches students the steps for an aseptic remediation process.
