ECT Environmental, Inc. first originated as Environmental Compliance Training in San Diego, CA in 1993 when Walter Amenta, CIH, developed an EPA approved training organization. ECT provides certification training for Asbestos workers, contractor/supervisors, inspectors, and other professionals as required by EPA to work in schools and by OSHA for worker protection. When Cal-OSHA began regulating Asbestos training in California in 2000, ECT developed training programs now used throughout the state. When the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) began regulating Lead training, ECT became a full-service Lead Training Provider.
