Why Should You Take This Lead Inspector Refresher Course?
Maintain your accreditation as a lead inspector by attending an EPA or state approved refresher course. Proof of prior completion of valid lead inspector training or a current state license must be provided.
The Lead Inspector refresher training provides information for individuals who perform lead-based paint inspections and/or clearance examinations on abatement and renovation projects. This course will teach the legal obligations facing inspectors when inspecting for lead hazards, and individuals will learn to determine whether or not lead-based paint or other lead hazards are present in sufficient quantities to require abatement according to regulatory guidelines.

this refresher covered a lot of things that i have not used with regards to LBP. particularly XRF. my company does not use XRF machines for our sampling so it was good to review that. i also enjoyed the fact it was more of a discussion instead of just reading off of powerpoint slides as it is more practical to understand real-world uses and techniques than just reading out of the book. I highly recommend Allstate Services! Matthew F.

Good solid refresher. Updates on EPA's website was nice and some current events. Technical aspects were a little lacking, in that some of the questions on the test were for risk assessors and were not covered in the class. David R.

Allstate Services was formed in April 1995 and maintains its corporate headquarters in Corona, CA, serving all of southern California. Allstate Services' experience with lead-based paint dates back to 1991. This included clients such as the City of Chelsea, the Massachusetts Department of Economics, and the State of Rhode Island's Department of Housing.
Allstate Services was called upon in 1993 to act as academic and technical advisor, as well as to provide instructor services to the US EPA Western Regional Lead Training Center at the University of California in San Diego; this being the first lead training provider under US EPA scholarship accommodated many of the first of the region's lead professional in securing this type of training. Over the past fifteen years, Allstate Services has served UCSD as academic and technical advisor, instructors, and DHS Certified Lead Training Director.
