This was an extremely helpful course taught by an awesome instructor, Lauren, who has a lot of real world experience. She interjected lots of humor and real life experiences to make a potentially long day go by quickly. I rate the course 4 1/2 stars. I didn't give it a full 5 because I felt like some of the true basics were glossed over and wished there were more 'hands on' exercises. I would have loved to have taken a paint chip sample. I am brand new to the world of lead inspecting, and felt like she might have assumed I knew more than I did even though I asked lots of questions...yep, I was THAT person. She definitely gave us the information needed to pass the end of course exam. I am hoping it's enough to pass the state's exam. I HIGHLY recommend Lauren as an instructor, she holds your attention, is funny, and gives you the needed information she's just AWESOME!
