This Lead Abatement Worker Continuing Education CA - Virtual course is designed to meet California state training requirements to maintain a Lead Abatement Worker license. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Lead Worker license must be renewed every year. Students must complete at least 7 hours of CDPH-approved lead-related construction Continuing Education every two years. Additionally, any one Continuing Education class can only be used for a maximum of two renewals. You should complete your Continuing Education before applying to CDPH for renewal.
This class will be conducted as a live, instructor-led webinar during the dates and times listed on the registration. Students must be available for the full duration of the class dates and times listed. NATEC will contact you after registering to schedule an appointment within 2 weeks to come in to their facility to complete the required hands-on training and final exam for this course. They will assure a maximum of 5 students per session, and students will be given 8 feet plus in between each other during exam and practical. Students should have a webcam or built in camera. Virtual training can be accessed via computer, smartphone, or tablet.
