Students will receive ZOOM meeting information 1-2 days after registration. The course manual will be sent via FedEx within a week prior to the class start date. In addition, any communication after registering will be between the student and RSA directly. Computer microphone and camera are required to take both the course and proctored exam. One student per registration fee.

This IICRC Odor Control Technician (OCT) course covers olfaction and odor, odor sources, detection process, theory of odor control, equipment, chemical options and applications. The student will learn how to address odors caused from biological sources such as decomposition, urine contamination, and mold, combustion sources such as fire and smoke damage, and chemical sources such as fuel oil spills or volatile organic chemicals.

Sanitize, disinfect, enzyme, and sealants
Vapor diffusion technology
Antimocrobials, 'pairing agents', and deodorizers and how to use them

IICRC Exam Fees: $80.00 for each exam. Retests are $80.00 per exam. These fees are in addition to the registration fee and are paid directly to the IICRC online prior to course start date. Please use this link to register for the exam: https://iicrc.org/livestreamexamregistration

Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry. IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.

Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.

COURSE LOGISTICS
Certificates	Students will receive the Certificate of Completion for in person classes on the last day. The IICRC Certification takes 4-6 weeks after course completion to receive.
Food	In person classes include breakfast, lunch, coffee, and snacks.

Gary was terrific! He has alot of knowledge about several different fields of the restoration business. He stopped and asked questions where needed, he also answered every question they the class had. He spent plenty of time explaining it so we would truly know why and not just a simple answer and move on.
