TERMS OF SERVICE: Please note per Zack Academy's terms of service, changes or cancellations are typically not permitted within 1 week of class. However, The Academy of Textiles and Flooring (ATF) will permit an exception when rescheduling to one of their future classes. For in-person classes, transfers requested 6 days or less will be charged a separate fee of $50 paid directly to ATF. For transfers requested on the first day of class or later, a fee of $100 paid directly to ATF will be required.

Why Should You Take This IICRC Color Repair Technician (CRT) course?

This IICRC Color Repair Technician (CRT) course addresses the history of color, color theory, natural and synthetic dyes, dye methods, types of dyes, types of fibers, carpet styles and dye procedures. Other topics covered include color related cleaning issues such as fading, color loss due to contamination or bleaching, and the use of cleaning agents that may affect or remove color from carpet.

Class Prerequisites: IICRC Certification in Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) or Commercial Carpet Maintenance Technician (CCMT)

IICRC Exam Fees: $80.00 for each exam. Retests are $80.00 per exam. These fees are in addition to the registration fee and are paid directly to the IICRC online prior to course start date. Please use this link to register for the exam: https://iicrc.org/livestreamexamregistration

Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry.

INSPECTORS: Due to rapid changes in fiber, yarn, dye, manufacturing, finishing and related technologies, IICRC-certified inspectors must attain 14.0 CE credit hours every two years.

CLEANING/RESTORATION TECHNICIANS: IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.

ADVANCED DESIGNATIONS: Those registrants achieving the advanced designations of Master Textile Cleaner (MTC), Master Fire and Smoke Restorer (MSR) or Master Water Restorer (MWR) will be required to attain 14.0 CE credit hours every two years.

Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.

Certificates	For courses that are IICRC approved, certifications are received in 4-6 weeks after passing the IICRC exam and are issued from IICRC.
