Why Should You Take This IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) course?

This IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) course is designed to teach the effective, efficient and timely drying of water-damaged structures and contents, using comprehensive classroom and hands-on training, in order to facilitate appropriate decision making within a restorative drying environment.

Emphasis will be placed on teaching applied structural drying techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform these services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.

 

Please Note: This class includes hands-on experience. Please wear shoes that can get wet.

  • Indoor Environmental Quality Issues
  • Property Restoration and Management
  • Enhanced Drying Systems
  • Power Distribution Panels
  • Latest Equipment, Tools and Technologies
  • Personal Protective Equipment

 

Class Prerequisite: You must have WRT (Water Damage Restoration) Certification. Please bring your IICRC card to class.

 

IICRC Exam Fees:  The ASD certification exam fee is $150; retests will be $80. These fees are in addition to the course registration fee and are paid directly to IICRC online prior to course start date. Please use this link to register for the exam: https://iicrc.org/livestreamexamregistration

 

Continuing Education:  The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry. IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.


Please Note:  Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.
