In the Essentials of Estimating: Water Mitigation course, students will learn how to estimate a water damage project from start to finish. This course provides valuable information on documentation, itemization, and state regulations for estimating. By the end of this course, students will have a better understanding of how to prepare, execute and finalize a water damage restoration project.
Water damage restoration projects involve more than just fixing up wet floors. These projects are almost always unplanned emergencies involving frantic clients and insurance agents. Without proper training on how navigate the applicable regulations and standards, it can be difficult to maintain a profitable restoration business.
The Essentials of Estimating: Water Mitigation course is tailored to the situations that a water damage restoration professional will encounter on the job. The course covers proper protocol before the project even begins, and walks students through the entire process of estimating the project and communicating these costs to clients and adjusters.
